Barbara J. Rios

Barbara Jean Rios was born on October 06, 1950 and was peacefully welcomed to her eternal home on December 21, 2024 Barbara was a beloved mother, wife, cherished friend, and had an array of kindness and generosity to all who knew her. Barbara was known by her compassion and her ability to bring joy and laughter to those around her. Her warm and infectious spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She is survived by husband Roger Rios; 2 children, Jesse Rios and Michelle Miller,; four grandchildren Anthony Arizola, Miguel Rios, Jeremiah Miller, and Selena Miller; three great-grandchildren Natilynn Arizola, Josiah Rios, Jovanni Rios. She is also survived by her brother Frank Miller and son-in-law Robert Miller. Proceeded in death by her mother Delores (nee Clary) and step-father Rolland Miller. Barbara's dedication to her family was unparalleled, and instilled values of kindness and empathy that she held dear.

Throughout her life, Barbara was a pillar of her church community, often volunteering her time and resources to help those in need. Her compassion and service will continue to inspire those who know her.

Barbara's passing leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends, but her memory will live on through the countless lives she inspired. Her spirit will be remembered for its light and love, and her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.

As we celebrate Barbara’s life, we remember the laughter, the love, and the countless beautiful moments she gifted us. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her children and all who were inspired by her grace and generosity. Barbara Jean Rios will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as her legacy of love and joy endures. 

A visitation will be held at Witkowiak Funeral Home, 529 W. Historic Mitchell Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Friday January 17. 2025 starting at Noon until the time of the service at 2 PM.
