Esperanza Gonzalez

Esperanza Gonzalez, a dedicated caregiver, loving mother, and cherished companion, passed away peacefully on August 17,2024, at the age of 74. Born on June 2, 1950, Esperanza exemplified a life of service and compassion, devoting her professional life to caring for others.

Her personality was a shining beacon of positivity; she was described as very caring, loving, and a true fighter. Esperanza maintained a joyful spirit that endeared her to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. A woman who cherished her family deeply, she found joy in the moments spent with her loved ones, especially during lively family gatherings where the sound of Ramon Ayala played, echoing her love for music and dancing.

Esperanza is survived by her beloved children, Anthony Ayala and his wife Marie Ayala, Andres Ayala, Maria Elena Cardosa, Monica Gonzalez, and Esperanza Alicea. She shared a special bond with her partner, Humberto Jose Rios, and her brothers, Abelardo Guerra, John Guerra, Manuel Guerra, and Charlie Guerra and his wife Bonnie. Her legacy continues with many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who carry forward her caring spirit and vibrant energy.

Esperanza was preceded in death by her mother, Dominga Rodriguez Guerra, her father, Manuel Guerra, and her siblings, Andres Guerra and wife Beverly Guerra, Guadalupe Guerra, Leopoldo Guerra, and Jose Guerra.

A memorial service honoring Esperanza's life will be held on August 29, 2024, at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The memorial service will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a Mass commencing at 2:00 PM.

Esperanza Gonzalez leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to caring for others. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Now she is at Peace and is dancing with the angels in Heaven.
