It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected death of our beloved Genoveva Aguilar, who passed away due to reckless driving on the night of October 29th, 2023. She leaves us with great sorrow but also with beautiful memories.
Genoveva, was born January 4th 1969 to Niceforo Aguilar and Juana Arias in León Gto. Mexico, where she spent most of her childhood and adolescence. She then migrated to the US to be with her husband in Los Angeles, California before ultimately settling in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She leaves behind her loving husband Manuel Galvan, her two dedicated sons Manuel A. Galvan (Denise) and Brian N. Galvan (Melissa) along with her adoring daughters Andrea L. Galvan (Dyln) and Daniela Galvan. She’s also succeeded by her seven granddaughters; Sarita, Soraya, Celeste, Ximena, Crystal, Arya and Eliana.
Genoveva was beyond generous when it came to everyone around her. She put her family and loved ones first while simultaneously going the lengths to help strangers in times of need. She had a dazzling personality, resilience was her forte. No matter the situation, she always sought out the positive. Whether you needed advice, a laugh, or even a shoulder to cry on, she was always there. An amazing mother, a loyal wife, a beloved grandmother and an even better friend. Our hearts weigh heavy from this tragedy, but her loving memory is solace for many.
A visitation will be held at WITKOWIAK FUNERAL HOME 529 W Historic Mitchell Street, Milwaukee Wisconsin on Wednesday November 8, 2023 from 4PM to 6PM with a Service at 6PM.
